Helpful Prayers

Prayer is a really powerful way to develop a relationship with God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. The difficulty for me has always been: What do I say?

First of all, just start. There are always going to be moments of drought in prayer but it is showing up that will keep the connection between you and God open and healthy.

My favorite prayer recently has been:

1. Father, I pray for all of those most in need of my forgiveness.

I have heard some really complicated versions of this. Personally I have kept it simple because obviously I am not in a place to know what that person might need. It is far better for me to just place it in God's hands.
